MERV 5-8: Filters with this rating also remove pollen, dust mites, and other harmful fibers with 20-35% dust spot efficiency.
MERV 9-12: Filters with this rating remove smaller particles known to cause allergies including pet dander and airborne particles.
MERV 13-16: Filters with this rating are the highest quality ensuring ultimate protection against all small airborne particles.
